Color Wheel Quilt Pattern

The Color Wheel Quilt Pattern became a reality from a bit of a push. I knew I wanted to release a quilt pattern this year. However, I didn’t know how many people would want this quilt to be made into a pattern!

When I posted about my original Color Wheel Quilt, I was overwhelmed with how many people reached out asking if there was a pattern.

Color, specifically rainbows, make me happy. There’s something magical that happens when you see all the colors together in a beautiful composition. The Color Wheel Quilt turns a traditional color wheel into an expression of movement and excitement. There are plenty of ways to interpret the pattern. Having fun and being creative is the most important part!

I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I do!

Pattern Testers’ Versions!

I had a great group of testers helping me through this process! Each one came through with amazing results (and helped the pattern become what it is!). I cannot thank them enough!

Sarah was the one to push me to get this pattern out into the world. She was so supportive and excited for this pattern, I literally couldn’t say “no” to making this pattern a reality. The online quilting community has some really great people in it and @acorncornerquilts is one of them! Her #colorwheelquilt is a mix of patterned and solid fabric. Each slice has so much personality and expression. I have been impatiently waiting to see her final result, and I was not disappointed! Sarah, Thank You for the nudge and guidance through this experience!

Elizabeth - @GudeGoods

Elizabeth @gudegoods has been an AMAZING tester! Her vision from the start has been epic! She was there to talk through details and help me get through my first pattern. I am so excited to brag about her and how wonderful of a person she is. She used a rainbow of Libs Elliott fabric.

I am so excited to introduce @Jeanne.Garcia . She took an impressive fabric pull idea and ran with it! Seeing my testers’ unique versions of the #colorwheelquilt is surreal. They have been all unique and expressive. Jeanne’s rainbow center and monochromatic exterior blows me away! Her craftsmanship is beautiful!

Alicia decided to double the amount of colors in her Color Wheel Quilt! She used 48 different solid colors! I love how it turned out! Her version shows how expressive and creative you can be with this pattern. The pattern is versatile and allows for your creativity to explore.

Trisha - @Trish.Urben

A fellow Madison quilter, Trisha created this beautiful version of the #colorwheelquilt. Her use of tonality throughout each 1/8th of the quilt is beautiful! Starting from a low volume fabric to bright saturated printed fabrics. Trisha, you created a gorgeous quilt top!!
